Alexandra Mittner, DVM, CVA, CVFT

Dr. Mittner is a 2014 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Basseterre, St. Kitts. During her clinical year at Oklahoma State University, she witnessed first-hand the benefit of acupuncture on her own dog, who had severe arthritis. This drove her passion to become a certified veterinary acupuncturist while working full time at a walk-in clinic in Miami. She then worked in Phoenix, at the Integrative Veterinary Medical Center, where she continued to further her knowledge in western and complimentary medicine modalities.

Dr. Mittner strives to always approach owners and animals alike with compassion and offer excellence in medicine tailored to fit the individual needs of her patients.

After starting her own family, she decided to move back home close to her family, now living in the beautiful paradise of Northern Michigan.
